  1. 18 hour drive time away, I watched the news the same way that day.

I remember Columbine, I was a freshman. It was scary, but nothing comoared to what I felt that day, watching the news.Jace was born May 2013. I had 2 kids and waa pregnant with Jace. Jaelyn was going to start KG in July of 2013. I was horrified. I still am.

I never allow him to walk out the door upset. I always hug him tight, kiss him and tell him I love him, EVERY day. The world is a scary place, I hate sending my baby out into "alone".

  2. And you mock me for my manners and kindness. Lmao! You are so right in referring to parents as the architect of our childrens and the worlds future. Well said!

  3. I remember driving down through Boston the first week after it was bombed and seeing the boarded up windows and feeling like the world was closing in like those tragedies that felt so far away were suddenly so much closer to home.
